Apple releases Remote 2.0 for iPhone and iPad

Apple has finally updated their Remote app to version 2.0, and included support for iPad 4 and iPod touch 4 Retina Display, and for the iPad. It will also support shared libraries for iTunes and, of course, the new Apple TV (2010) that's just started to hit the streets. AirPlay is also supported, currently for what was previously AirTunes, and no doubt for full on iOS 4.2 video goodness when that's released as well.

ngmoco releases We City for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch

We City is the latest addition to ngmoco's successful We Rule and We Farm line of games for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch. We City has the same flavor as We Rule and We Farm with the goal of building your city and making it as awesome as you can. There are over 100 buildings and decorations like cafes, salons, apartments, hospitals, and even hot dog stands.

As with their other games, We City is powered by the plus+ network so that you can play with your friends and speed up your progress through the game.

However, there's no Game Center support (yet?). Did ngmoco miss that memo?

If you pick this one up, let us know what you think. Is it better than We Rule and We Farm?

The most common words used uniquely in 1-star and 5-star App Store reviews, according to Instapaper and Tumblr developer Marco Arment who wrote a script to collect the data:

5-star: awesome, worth, thanks, amazing, simple, perfect, price, everything, ever, must, ipod, before, found, store, never, recommend, done, take, always, touch

1-star: waste, money, crashes, tried, useless, nothing, paid, open, deleted, downloaded, didn’t, says, stupid, anything, actually, account, bought, apple, already

His analysis is well worth the read.
