Steam game purchases can now be refunded within 14 days

Valve is now allowing people who purchase games and software applications on Steam to get a full refund within 14 days of their purchase and if they have played the game or used the software for less than two hours after buying it.

With over 4 million Mac X gamers playing on Steam, this change could affect many of those players.

Steam reports over 4 million gamers playing on OS X

While still a small segment, Mac gaming is growing, with Steam reporting that over 4 million gamers across the world play on OS X.

Steam's latest hardware survey, for March 2015, indicates that of 3.43% of Steam's 125 million users are using Macs. While that's a small percentage, that amounts to about 4.28 million people playing games through Mac on Steam.

For game maker Aspyr, Mac App Store presents unique challenges

How to get back gigabytes of Mac disk space by deleting unused Steam games

Recently my 13 year old son wanted to install some new software on his Mac but found that he didn't have a lot of disk space. Surprising, given that his Mac mini came with a 320 GB hard drive.
