RAW compatibility update for OS X 10.8 adds support for a host of new cameras

Apple is currently pushing out a small, but not insignificant, RAW compatibility update for OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion that adds support for a whole host of new digital cameras in Aperture 3 and iPhoto. The update is necessary for both programs to make use of RAW image files from the newly supported digital cameras.

eBay app for iPhone gets a visual overhaul and license scanning for quick registration

The official eBay app for iPhone just got a nice update that brings a UI refresh to the online auction service. The bump up to version 3.0 adds a general refresh to most areas of the app, and improves photos in listings making them now much larger and better looking. Photos also now look larger in search results at the tap of a button, though iOS 6 and above is required for this.

iTunes gets updated, check out the new MiniPlayer!

There's a new iTunes update in town, and at the top of the list of new goodies is a new look MiniPlayer. The tiny little iTunes window has had a makeover that now includes a progress bar for the track currently playing, alongside your album artwork too. It may well be tiny, but it does look a lot nicer now, so good job on that front, Apple.

Auto-play for TV shows comes to Netflix in latest update to iOS app

Netflix has just pushed out an update to their iOS application that will please watchers of television shows via the service. The new post-play feature will cue and then begin the next episode in the season once the currently watched one ends. Verizon iPhone 5 carrier update looks to solve glitch which used cellular data even when connected to Wi-Fi

Apple has released a small update for Verizon iPhone 5 users after it was discovered that the iPhone 5 may be using cellular data even if the device is connected to a Wi-Fi network. The update started rolling out last night and was in response to a number of complaints from Verizon iPhone 5 users who noticed that their data allowances were shrinking even when using a Wi-Fi data connection.
