Looking to score a deal on Apple's latest smartphones? Well, if you're in the market for an iPhone 5s or iPhone 5c, you should wait until tomorrow, June 27, as that's when Walmart will be offering substantial discounts on both models provided you ink a two-year service agreement with your favorite carrier.
WalMart is running a Mother's Day promotion where the iPad mini is discounted by $30. The sale price is for both the standard iPad mini, which was previously priced at $299, and the newer iPad mini with Retina Display.
Walmart recently announced that they'll be offering trade-in pricing for your used iPhone in exchange for in-store credit. The program will start on September 21st and over 3,500 Walmart stores will be participating.
Walmart and Straight Talk Wireless will soon be carrying the iPhone 5 starting January 11. Walmart is currently testing a new in store Scan & Go pay system for use exclusively with the iPhone. A fresh study by Consumer Intelligence Research Partners sows that Walmart sells 11% of all iPads in the U.S. By comparison, Best Buy sells 24%, Apple sells 26%, Amazon sells 8%, and AT&T and Verizon sell 1% each.
There have been Apple Stores inside Best Buy (and their subsidiary, Future Shop in Canada) for a long time now, but Walmart? Admittedly, I haven't been to Walmart in years, but last time I did the most they had in there was a McDonalds. Well, times change and Apple Retail just keeps building or building.
