What you need to know

  • Apple has launched a new "Careers at Apple" website.
  • The site talks about what it is like to work at the company and provides tools for searching for a position.

Apple has launched a new careers website for those who are interested in working for the company.

The redesigned "Careers at Apple" website replaces the previous "Jobs at Apple" website that existed before it. The new website is more streamlined and opens with an explanation of what to expect if hired at the company.

Apple is where you'll work with others who share your passion. Where business serves expertise. Where a healthy respect for courage and original thinking inspires you to bring your best to what we do together.

It then talks about how "Work at Apple" operates in a way that is different than traditional business structures.

Apple is organized by functional specialties rather than business units — rare for a company our size. We're experts leading experts: hardware experts lead hardware, software experts lead software, and design experts lead design. This differs from most other large companies, where general managers oversee managers. Apple is Apple because those with the most expertise in an area of work have decision rights for that area.Leaders at Apple combine their expertise with two other important characteristics: immersion in the details and a willingness to collaboratively debate during collective decision-making. For people at every level here, it can be liberating — even exhilarating — to work with experts who offer relevant guidance and mentoring. This approach to leadership is a commitment to collaboration that leads to innovation.

There is also a separate "Life at Apple" section that goes over what it is like at the company once you are hired, including Apple's values, benefits, and more.

There's more to you than anyone knows. Bring your lived experience to Apple and see how much more there is to do, to share, and to discover. Because here, we welcome you for who you are and who you want to become.

You can, of course, also use the website to search for job listings you may be interested in. You can check out everything at the new "Careers at Apple" website.
