Apple Card is reportedly offering 0% financing to customers who are confused about an item they recently purchased and expected to get the payment option.
As reported by AppleInsider, Apple and its Apple Card partner Goldman Sachs sent an email to customers on Monday explaining that the companies would honor 0% financing for items customers purchased expecting to get the option for Apple Card Monthly Installments.
According to the email, the exception applies to purchases at both Apple or an Apple Authorized Reseller.
Apple Card Monthly Installments is a payment option that Apple created for its credit card. The option offers 0% financing on certain products purchased at Apple with Apple Card such as the iPhone, iPad, Mac, and even an Apple Pencil. Depending on the cost of the item, customers can get the option to finance their purchase over as little as 6 or as much as 24 months.
In order to use Apple Card Monthly Installments, your Apple Card must have enough available credit to cover the purchase you are trying to make. Once you choose the payment option, you'll be charged monthly for the items and able to track your payoff over time. Of course, you can also pay off your item early without penalty.
