Description: A humanoid Pokémon with pale pink skin, Mr. Mime is a Gen I Pokémon from the Kanto Region. It has two large poofs of blue hair on the sides of its head and aside from commical proportions, looks very much like a human clown. It has a white torso with pink bulges that look like sleeves and shorts around its shoulders and hips. It also has a pink circle on its stomach and two more on its cheeks. Its hands are colored to look like gloves and its feet like pointy, blue shoes.

Although named Mr. Mime, this species of Pokémon can be male or female, but both are quite rare. They are capable of solidifying the air around them, bringing their pantomime to life. If a Mr. Mime thinks someone is not impressed with their act or ignoring it altogether, it won't hesitate to smack the offender.

In Galar, Mr. Mime are blue and white instead of pink and white, and a bit larger. The Galarian Mr. Mime has a diamond shaped ice crystal that looks somewhat like a tie, and similar ice on the bottoms of its shoes. It also has a big, blue nose whereas the Kanto version has no nose at all. Although still called Mr. Mime, Galarian Mr. Mime aren't mimes at all, but rather dancers. They can create ice on any surface they stand and tap dance as they attack their opponents with that ice.

Mr. Mime in the core games

  • Sword Pokédex: The broadness of its hands may be no coincidence—many scientists believe its palms became enlarged specifically for pantomiming.
  • Shield Pokédex: It's known for its top-notch pantomime skills. It protects itself from all sorts of attacks by emitting auras from its fingers to create walls.
