Description: A small, raccoon-like Pokémon, Zigzagoon has alternating zig zag stripes in light and dark brown and a mask of black around its eyes. Its fur is spiky and bristly to the touch, likely from Zigzagoon's propensity towards zag zag movements as it searches the ground, and its habit of rubbing its body against trees to mark its territory. The Pokémon is known to be incredibly curious and eager to battle to prove themselves.
It is believed that the Galarian Zigzagoon is, in fact, the older of the two. It is darker, in shades of black and grey, and the mask it wears takes the shape of stares around its red eyes. Galarian Zigzagoon have a longer tongue which is often hanging from their mouths as they constantly move, incapable of settling.
Core Games
Zigzagoon in the core games
- Sword Pokédex: It marks its territory by rubbing its bristly fur on trees. This variety of Zigzagoon is friendlier and calmer than the kind native to Galar.
- Shield Pokédex: Zigzagoon that adapted to regions outside Galar acquired this appearance. If you've lost something, this Pokémon can likely find it.
