Amazon offering 12 days of Kindle book deals starting now

Amazon has kicked off a new 12 days of book deals valid not only on print books, but also on Kindle eBooks. The promotion is said to cover popular and best selling titles, with different deals being offered every day.

Amazon today announced its second annual 12 Days of Deals for books, a holiday promotion where popular and best-selling books are deeply discounted off their list price. Starting today and continuing through December 14, both print and Kindle books will be discounted under daily common themes that will make it easy for customers to stock their own libraries or buy books for everyone on their gift lists.

Today's first day theme is best books of 2013 and includes discounts on Donna Tartt’s The Goldfinch, Philipp Meyer’s The Son and Hannah Kent’s Burial Rites. Print customers can add Robert Galbraith's (aka JK Rowling) The Cookoo's Calling to that as well.

Kindle books can of course also be sent as a gift, either immediately or scheduled for scheduled for a future date. A perfect chance to send some books to friends and family this holiday season.

Hmm... [Having inspected you cover photo] I love the idea of having Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns on my Kindle. I'd like it for iOS too! Then I wouldn't have to take out the original books to read and worry about any harm that could come to my precious! xP
