A new set of purported molds and schematics for the upcoming iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus have seemingly confirmed some previously rumored features of the smartphones. Specifically, images spotted on Chinese website Baidu and reported by HDBlog appear to show a dual camera setup on the iPhone 7 Plus mold, while the iPhone 7 mold shows just a single rear shooter.
Also worth noting is that neither the molds nor the schematics show signs of iPad Pro-like Smart Connectors, which were once rumored for the larger iPhone 7 Plus.
As with all leaks of this nature, it's best to take these with a giant grain of salt. There have been many conflicting rumors and leaks concerning the iPhone 7 thus far, and it's impossible to verify the veracity of the above molds. Still, the pictures do add weight to murmurings of a dual camera setup for the iPhone 7 Plus. Though not visible in the molds, it has also been rumored that Apple may ditch the dedicated headphone jack on the iPhone 7, opting to route audio through the Lightning port instead.
In any case, we're still several months out from Apple's typical fall iPhone announcement, and it's likely we'll continue to see more leaks and rumors pop up as the announcement approaches.
