Pixar names its main office building in dedication to former CEO Steve Jobs

Pixar, the makers of superb films like Monsters Inc. and more recently Brave has named its main office building in honor of the late Steve Jobs. The building which is part of the Pixar campus now proudly displays the sign “The Steve Jobs Building”, the new comes from Pixar Times.

The folks at Timeflies have made a unique tribute to the late Steve Jobs for one of their Tuesday songs.

All of this was shot on an iPad 2 and edited using iMovie, recorded, mixed, and mastered on an iMac. The beat was made using samples from OSX and iOS - everything on a Tuesday.

Netgear CEO Patrick Lo has spoken out over Apple’s closed ecosystem and the ego of Steve Jobs. Speaking at a lunch in Sydney Australia, Lo questioned the future of Apple’s closed system, in the face of mounting competition from Google’s “Open” Android operating system.
