AgileBits has announced a new, collaborative feature for 1Password, its password and identity management software. 1Password for Teams are a new way to use 1Password with groups of people, allowing you to easily share vaults and items with colleagues, family members, and friends. With 1Password for Teams, you'll have an easier time deploying shared vaults, along with better signup and simpler billing.
Central to 1Password for Teams is the Admin Console. A central location for all 1Password for Teams activity, the Admin Console gives you complete control over the team. You can easily invite new members to the team, share and revoke team vaults, control who can access specific items, and recover locked out accounts.
1Password for Teams is now in beta, and during the beta, teams that sign up can use it completely free. Once the beta is over, 1Password for Teams will be available as a monthly subscription, starting at $4.99 per team member. Interested teams can find out more and sign up at the AgileBits website.
