Apple launches 'Back to Uni' education promo in Australia, Brazil, more

  • Apple has launched its back-to-school promotion in Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, and Brazil.
  • The event offers a free pair of AirPods for purchases of eligible Macs and iPads.

Apple has officially launched its "Back to Uni" promotion in Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, and South Korea.

The education promotion offers students and teachers a free pair of AirPods with the purchase of an eligible Mac or iPad. Customers can also grab 20% off of AppleCare+ for their new Mac, iPad, or AirPods.

Buy selected Mac and iPad models with education pricing and get AirPods. Also get 20% off AppleCare+.

The following Macs and iPads are eligible for the promotion:

  • MacBook Air
  • MacBook Pro
  • iMac
  • Mac Pro
  • Mac mini
  • iPad Pro
  • iPad Air

The following AirPods are eligible for the offer:

  • AirPods (2nd generation)
  • AirPods (3rd generation)
  • AirPods Pro

According to the terms and conditions, the promotion will begin on January 6 and run until March 7:

Offer valid on qualifying purchases of eligible Apple products from 6 January 2022 to 7 March 2022 at Apple Store locations, on the Apple Store for Education and by calling 133-622. Subject to full terms and conditions of offer; see apple.com/au/shop/back-to-school/terms-conditions.

While a free pair of the 2nd generation AirPods are included by default in the promotion, customers can also choose to upgrade to a pair of 3rd generation AirPods or AirPods Pro for a little more money. Customers will see the option to redeem the free or upgraded pair of AirPods when they add their eligible Mac or iPad to the cart.

The promotion is available to students, parents of students, teachers, and university staff.
