Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons adventure game comes to the iPhone and iPad

The adventure game Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons has already received a ton of great reveals on consoles and the PC. Now the game, developed by Starbreeze Studios working with filmmaker Josef Fares, has been released for the iPhone and iPad by publisher 505 Games for $4.99.

The original game centers on two brothers who have to go on a journey to save their father. Both characters are controlled by the player, offering a co-op gameplay experience in single player. The game first came out in 2013, but for its mobile release, there had to be some changes made to make it work for smartphones and tablets:

Re-interpreted for touch screen and built from the ground up, Brothers on mobile allows players to engage in the deep narrative with very little intrusion to the actual game screen. Specially designed, dual virtual joysticks give players the functionality of a traditional game controller– while also offering two distinct control styles to give players the freedom to explore the world on their own terms. In addition, players will find a "One Last Game" mobile exclusive achievement as an added bonus.
