A new case, reportedly for the upcoming 9.7-inch iPad Pro, previously known as the iPad Air 3, appears to have surfaced online. The case supports earlier rumors about the tablet, particularly the presence of a smart connector and four speaker grills.

Photos of the cases were posted on Twitter by Steve Hemmerstoffer:

The 9.7-inch iPad Pro is expected to debut at Apple's March 21 event, to be held in Cupertino, California. Recent reports suggests that it really will be a smaller version of the current 12.9-inch iPad Pro, including the presence of the A9X system on a chip. The new tablet will also reportedly feature a 12-megapixel camera with 4K video support. The smaller iPad Pro is also said to feature support for the Apple Pencil, along with a new, smaller Smart Keyboard.
