Rockstar has released Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories for iPhone and iPad. the mobile title, listed on the App Store for $6.99, allows players to fire up Liberty City on their mobile device with both touch controls (3D Touch!) and gamepad support.

GTA: San Andreas now available for iOS in Australia and New Zealand, midnight in other locations

This is the one a lot of us have been waiting ever so patiently on since it was first announced, but today – well, technically tomorrow – is GTA: San Andreas day. The game is already available to download in the New Zealand and Australia App Stores, and according to Pocketgamer will go live at midnight in the UK and the U.S, and presumably anywhere else it'll be available.

Grand Theft Auto III: 10th Anniversary Edition on its way to mobile devices Dec 15

Grand Theft Auto III: 10th Anniversary Edition will hit the iPhone and iPad App Store on Dec 15 for a rather low price of $4.99. Unfortunately it will only run on the iPhone 4 and 4S, the iPad 1  and 2, and the fourth generation iPod touch.

Grand Theft Auto Coming Soon to iPhone/iPod Touch

Rockstar Games announced yesterday that it will be porting one of their most popular games over to the iPhone platform. Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars will make its iPhone debut sometime before the year is over (price still to be determined price).

This is simply more verification that Apple's iPhone OS can pull it's weight in the handheld gaming wars. If you can't wait until GTA's release, Gangstar: West Coast Hustle from Gameloft [iTunes Link] should be good enough to hold you over.
