Build your own tablet with the Kano Computer Kit Touch at its lowest price ever

The Kano Computer Kit Touch is down to $167.99 on Amazon. That's an all-new low price for a device that's only a few months old and was selling around $280 on its release. Before today, the lowest we'd seen it go was $200.

We shared news about this tablet back in September before it became a reality and were excited about it back then. It's essentially a do-it-yourself touchscreen computer that Kano will teach you how to build, and once you're done Kano will teach you how to code. Kano's kits are generally meant for children, although just about anyone would learn something new from them. You'll get step-by-step instructions using words and pictures that help you put together this fully functional Raspberry Pi computer and 10.1-inch HD touchscreen. You'll even build your own speakers.

Once the computer is built, you can use it to make music, produce art, play Minecraft, and more. You'll even learn Javascript and Python programming. Kano has other options if this is an interesting concept to you, like the Kano Computer Kit that's currently $89.99.
