If you think you're the one, if you think you could handle being on a live internet show, then make us a quick video titled "TiPb Podcast Contest Entry", upload it to YouTube, and paste the link in the comments below.

Keep the video short -- 1 minute is plenty -- but show us what you've got. Show us why you should be on iPhone Live! or iPad Live! Give us a rant. Give us some insight. Give us something compelling about whatever TiPb-appropriate subject you like best.

Win an iPad from Waze and TiPb!

Between now and November 10th, we're partnering with Waze to give away an iPad (or a Galaxy Tab if you're feeling Android-y). Here's how it works:

Download and install Waze from the App Store
Drive around with Waze and collect "Road Goodies" - which basically just means drive over the TiPb logos as you move about your city. As you can see above, they are *everywhere*.
It's a competition between iPhone users, Android users, and BlackBerry users - which is to say you're up against the kids from Android Central and CrackBerry.com. Whichever site whose users collect the most Road Goodies will win and be able to give a tablet away to one of their users - selected randomly from amongst the top 25 collectors. Remember - you only get credit for driving over the iPhone icons.
That's it! Use Waze, collect Road Goodies, and stick it to those Android and BlackBerry users while automatically getting a chance to win an iPad or Tab

What's Waze, then? It's a free social mapping tool: you can get directions, find out where the traffic is, ping other users, and generally find your way around while helping other Waze users get better location and traffic information. Remember that TiPb iPhone and iPad wallpaper contest we had going in our forums? We didn't forget about it, but I don't think we made it exactly clear what we were looking for either. So to kick things off (again), we've picked our first winner, the forum member who submitted the beautiful wallpaper they made above.

Think you can make a killer wallpaper? Jump over to our thread and submit your iPad or iPhone wallpaper for your chance to win. We'll be picking a winner every week. Each winner will have their wallpaper put on the front page of TiPb as well as receive $20.

PCalc 2.3 now available for iPhone, iPad [Give away]

PCalc, one of our favorite iPhone and iPad calculator apps (see Leanna's PCalc review), has just hit version 2.3, and in celebration the developer has very kindly offered us a bunch of promo codes to give away. To you. But first things first:

This free update has many improvements, but the key one is taking advantage of the additional screen space on the iPad. You can now permanently show the paper tape, RPN stack, and memories onscreen in a new sidebar area. This was the number one requested feature from iPad users, and we're happy to be able to add it now.

The tape, stack, and memories have had a complete overhaul for the iPhone and iPod touch too, and are now easier to read across all devices, appropriately themed, and with enhanced email support.

PCalc is distributed as a universal app - one purchase will work on iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch. No need to buy a separate "HD" version. It requires an iPhone or an iPod touch running OS 3.0 or later, or an iPad running OS 3.2 or later.

Bar Refaeli for iPhone [Give away]

The official Bar Refaeli app for iPhone is here complete with photos, interviews, and videos. It's not Retina Display (yet?), and we had some trouble with the video (though that could just be launch day hiccups) but if you're a Bar Refaeli fan and want to take her everywhere you go, yes... there's an app for that.
