Monday's top deals: Amazon Fire TV Recast, $7 wireless chargers, and more

It's the beginning of a whole new month and we've got a new batch of deals for your perusal and purchasing pleasure.
Amazon Prime Day is looming large but you don't have to wait until its official July 15 kick off date to start saving. One new deal to take advantage of just went live today: $100 off Amazon Fire TV Recast. The deal, which is exclusive to Amazon Prime members, takes the over-the-air DVR device down to its lowest ever price in both storage configurations.
$129.99 $229.99 $100 off
The 500GB Fire TV Recast (opens in new tab) is usually $229.99 but falls to just $129.99 with the Prime-exclusive discount. During Black Friday it hit $190 for the first time and we haven't seen a discount that good since then. The Recast's integration with the Fire TV and Echo Show lets you watch and record over-the-air TV easily. Plus you'll be able to watch your media on compatible mobile devices, too. This machine is great for live sports and other shows you can't usually get on an app like Netflix — such as local news, talk shows, and the like. Just pair it with an HDTV antenna. It has two tuners so you can record two shows at once, and the 500GB space should let you record as much as 75 hours of programming.
You can also upgrade to the 1TB version (opens in new tab) for $179.99. Regularly $279.99, the larger size Recast fell to $220 during Black Friday before returning to its full price. We've only seen it discounted to $230 infrequently after that. It has four tuners and its increased capacity allows for up to 150 hours of programming to be recorded.
Of course, this sale is only available to Amazon Prime (opens in new tab) subscribers. However, if you're new to Prime, you can take advantage of its 30-day free trial (opens in new tab) to get all of its benefits, including this Fire TV Recast sale as well as all of the upcoming Prime Day deals.

Wireless chargers have come a long way in recent years. Formerly an expensive luxury, they are now about as affordable as wired chargers — especially with coupon codes like this. The Choetech Qi Fast Wireless Charging Stand drops to just $6.99 at Amazon when you clip the on-page coupon for $5 off and enter promo code ZAPYTMD8 at checkout. That code takes $13 off its current price and drops it lower than we've ever seen it go before.
Keep an eye out
The two-camera Arlo Pro 2 home security system is down to $298.59 at Amazon right now. The set has never gone below $300 there before and has sold for around $330 in recent weeks. The kit includes two cameras, mounting hardware, and the required base station to make it all work together. The Arlo Pro 2 smart home wireless HD security cameras can be used indoors or outdoors to keep watch over any angle of your home — they're weatherproof and even include night vision so you'll be able to see even when it's dark out.
Enlightening offer
Woot is holding a sale on certified refurbished LIFX Smart Lighting for a limited time with prices starting as low as $14.99. All the space
Amazon is offering this SanDisk 256GB High Endurance Video microSD Card with Adapter for $54.99. This is also the lowest we've ever seen this specific card sell for. This card is built for high endurance, so you can record for up to 20,000 hours with no worries. That makes it ideal for your dash cam or home monitoring system. It's temperature-, shock-, and water-proof so harsh environments won't hinder its performance. It even has support for 4K video, and the massive capacity gives you plenty of space to work with while read speeds of up to 100MB/s ensure snappy transfers.
Pocket library
Amazon is offering Prime members a sweet perk ahead of Prime Day. Simply click through and sign up for a free three-month trial to Kindle Unlimited. This is a subscription service giving you access to over a million titles, spanning from cookbooks to fantasy novels to nonfiction and more. It usually costs $9.99 a month, and it will renew at that rate at the end of the trial. You can cancel at any time with no penalty. The deal is supposed to be restricted to people signing up for the first time, but the milage seem to vary on that.
