iPhone 5 concept designs start up again

Now that iPhone 4S has come and launched, iPhone 5 (or whatever Apple ends up calling the next generation iPhone), concept designs are once again starting to pop up. This one comes from designer Antonio De Rosa, who created the above iPhone concept and has given it the title of iPhone SJ, as it is Steve Jobs inspired. He imagines it having an A6 processor, a 10 MP camera, and a polycarbonate body. I don't particularly feel that an A6 processor or a better camera are out of the question for the next iPhone.

Camera+ update brings back VolumeSnap

Camera+, the popular photography iPhone app has been updated to include VolumeSnap, the ability to trigger the camera's shutter with the volume buttons - again.

Last year, tap tap tap submitted a version of Camera+ that included VolumeSnap and Apple rejected it. Then tap tap tap tweeted about a hidden easter egg that would turn on the feature with the then-current version. Apple got wind of it and removed Camera+ from the App Store entirely.

Months later, Camera+ was allowed back into the App Store and Apple also also brought the functionality of VolumeSnap to iOS 5. Now, Apple has accepted the update for Camera+ that includes VolumeSnap.

It's not difficult mind you, just a little be of time and effort.

If you're itching to get your tinker on, hit the link below for all the details.

Secret panorama mode found in iPhone Camera App

iPhone hacker @conradev has found a way to enable the "secret" panorama mode within the iOS 5 camera app. At the moment, you can only enable it on a jailbroken iPhone by tweaking a plist file, com.apple.mobileslideshow.plist, and setting 'EnableFirebreak' to YES, but an easy-to-use hack should appear on Cydia at some point tomorrow.

Don't worry, if you're not on #ATeamJailbreak -- hopefully Apple will officially enable Panorama Mode in an iOS 5.1 or iOS 5.2 update at some point in the not-so-distant future.
