GT Racing 2, which was announced by Gameloft back in September, is now available for download on both iPhone and iPad. The game includes 1,400 events and over 60 licensed cars including Mercedes-Benz, Ferrari, Dodge, Nissan, Audi, Ford, and more.
Feral Interactive announced Wednesday plans to release a Mac version of F1 2013 in December. F1 2013 is the latest installment of the Formula 1 racing game originally developed by Codemasters and released for consoles and Windows last month.
Out of all the games to hit iOS this year, Riptide GP2 charts up there as one of the finest and developer Vector Unit has pushed out a great new update that's perfect for a little weekend jet ski action. New this time out is a VR Challenge mode that promises that you can race your friends and compete for the best times on the leaderboard.
If you've yet to sample the tire squealing delight that is Asphalt 8: Airborne, then you're in for a treat as Apple has selected Gameloft's latest racer for the the Free App of the Week promotion. It isn't the first time Asphalt 8 has gone free, but there's never a better time to snag yourself a copy.
EA has pushed out another impressive update to its equally impressive iOS racer, Real Racing 3, that for the first time brings cars from Ferrari into the mix. Not just any Ferraris either, but the F12 berlinetta, the FF and my own personal favorite, the 458 Italia. It's not just new cars either, the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona has been added too, along with a whole lot more.
Codemasters makes a pretty incredible F1 game for consoles, and they're back with a new title for iOS in F1 Challenge. As with the console games, F1 Challenge comes filled with more licenses than you wave a checkered flag at. The only drawback; it's based on the 2012 F1 World Championship, so the current driver and team combinations don't apply.
If you're looking for a good way to wind down the work week, you'll want to pick up Asphalt 8: Airborne on the App Store since it's ditched the $0.99 pricetag and gone free for this weekend only. There are a few freemium elements in the game, but if my glowing review is any indication, they sure don't get in the way of anything.
Racing title 2K Drive is now available for the iPhone and the iPad. Drive gets players behind the wheel and racing on tracks located all around the world. Players can complete challenges to earn rewards throughout the game.
