Space Black Apple Watch (steel) unboxing

The Space Black Apple Watch is stainless steel with diamond-like coating (DLC).

The result is something with an almost other-worldly beauty. Like dragon scales or the Batmobile, the stuff of legends. The link bracelet enjoys the same kind of cleverness as the band itself — push a button and not only is it easy to swap, it's easy to re-size.

It might not be gold, but it's arguably one of the best looks, and Watches, in Apple's lineup.

13-inch MacBook Air unboxing and first impression

Here it is, the new Haswell-based MacBook Air. We're talking 1.7GHz dual core i7 proc with Intel HD 5000 graphics 8GB of RAM and 512GB of SSD storage. The ports are the same as last year's -- 2x USB 3 and 1x Thunderbolt. Sadly, it's Thunderbolt 1 and not the new, fancy Thunderbolt 2, which kind of puts the damper on Retina Thunderbolt display support, and makes it standard size pixels all around. The only new addition is the second mic, which should hopefully help with sound input quality.

iPad 4 unboxing and hardware hands-on

Half a year later and a generation ahead, the iPad 4 is here and while it's the same in almost every discernible way to the previous iPad 3, there are a few things absolutely worth discerning. First, it's got the new Lightning connector. Second, it's got a 720p FaceTime HD camera on the front. Third, it's got an all new, all powerful Apple A6X processor inside (and the forthcoming LTE version will have an all new, all international LTE chipset to boot). But can you judge that particular book by this cover? Watch!
