Apple Pay adds support from 54 new U.S. banks and credit unions

Apple Pay continues to grow, with 54 more banks and credit unions have been added to the list of supporters. This brings the total number of U.S. financial institutions with Apple Pay support to 658.

In addition to these U.S. institutions, Apple Pay enjoys support from several banks in the United Kingdom as well. Apple also recently announced that they would bring the system to Australia and Canada later this year through a partnership with American Express. Additionally, Apple Pay will roll out in Spain, Singapore, and Hong Kong in 2016.
