Fans of Apple TV+ series Ted Lasso can attend a tailgate event in LA this week, including one ahead of the LAFC vs Sporting KC game.

Apple TV+ is celebrating the success of its hit comedy Ted Lasso by bringing fans of the bungling soccer coach together this Wednesday for a themed tailgate event at Banc of California Stadium, Los Angeles.The traveling marketing activation invites viewers to immerse themselves in official merchandise, take a ride on a double-decker 'Believe Bus', and get snapped in outsize themed photo installations ahead of a scheduled clash between LAFC and Sporting KC.
The events promise a live DJ, music, free food, games, and more. Three events will take place, one each day on August 4, 7, and 8.

According to figures from Reelgood provided to iMore, Ted Lasso was the number one most-watched show amongst its 2 million users the weekend of July 23 when season two debuted, and the following weekend when the second episode dropped.Reelgood says that not only is Ted Lasso top of the league, but it's also doing much better than it did last year, attracting around 4.6% of streaming shares compared to just 1.9% for season one, even when the data is adjusted to account for season one, which saw the first three episodes debut on the same day.
