Insteon releases HomeKit-enabled Insteon Hub

With the Insteon Hub and HomeKit you can create and control multiple houses, rooms, and zones with your iPhone, iPad, or Siri. Quickly build scenes and adjust several devices at once, along with scheduling scenes to repeat on specific days, weeks, or dates. There's even a comprehensive dashboard view so that you can easily see and control your home automation system.

The Insteon Hub is available for pre-order at Amazon and Smarthome starting today; in retail stores by early July.

Insteon® Now Shipping Apple HomeKit-enabled Insteon Hub

Irvine, Calif. – June 2, 2015 – Insteon®, creators of the world's premier home automation and control technology, today announced it is now shipping its new HomeKit-enabled Insteon Hub, bringing Insteon products like switches, outlets, thermostats and light bulbs into the HomeKit ecosystem. The HomeKit-enabled Insteon Hub is available exclusively through Amazon.com and Smarthome.com for $149.99 and will be available in retail stores in early July. Also available is the new and completely redesigned Insteon+ app for iOS 8.1 or later, which will work with other HomeKit-enabled products from various manufacturers, including HomeKit-enabled lights, door locks, color-changing bulbs, garage door openers, thermostats and other HomeKit-enabled products. It will also work with all Insteon products, when paired with the Insteon Hub. Ultimately, this Insteon+ app provides one simple, singular method for consumers to control connected devices.
