Apple states that the M1 chip is 50 times faster CPU performance compared to the original iPad Pro. Apple also says that the graphic performance is up to 1500 times better.

Does it have mini-LED screen?

Yes! The iPad Pro (2021) now includes a Liquid Retina XDR display, which is comprised of mini-LEDs. There are over 2500 dimming zones that help make the HDR content look its best.

The new screen boasts a 2732-by-2048 resolution at 264 ppi with a max brightness of 600 nits (typical); however, for HDR content it can achieve a peak brightness of 1600 nits. The XDR display will allow you to have a fantastic HDR display in a mobile format.

The Liquid Retina XDR display is only available in the 12.9-inch version of the iPad Pro (2021).

Does the iPad Pro (2021) support Thunderbolt?

Yes. The USB-C port in the iPad Pro (2021) now supports Thunderbolt, meaning ultra-fast data transfer speeds and the ability to export more data much easy. It also uses USB 4.

What about the cameras?

The iPad Pro (2021) now has an ultra-wide selfie cam. It's a 12MP sensor and comes with a new feature known as Center Stage, which will keep you in the frame as best as it can during video calls if you move around.

To get the 16 GB of RAM in the iPad Pro (2021) you'll need to dish out the money for a model that has 1TB or 2TB of storage. Both the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro (2021) will have 16 GB of RAM if you select the high-capacity storage options. All other models of the iPad Pro (2021) will only have 8GB of RAM.

Is there a new Apple Pencil?

No new Apple Pencil was announced. The iPad Pro (2021) will only work with the Apple Pencil 2, just like before.
