At the moment the Thunder is pure vaporware, so I am more than a little amused by the Crackberry crowd's desperation to talk it up.

To produce a multi-touch screen with all the software goodness on the iPhone would seem to be a quantum leap forward for RIM, which, so far, has shown itself to be incapable of even releasing minor software updates to its existing products. And have you seen how excited Crackberry.com gets when someone launches a new theme for the the Blackberry's appalling launcher? No wonder they're getting all overheated over nothing.

Also, I wasn't tattling on everybody for copying, think of it as a business suggestion. Namely, stop trying to figure out why everyone likes the iPhone and figure out what new cool stuff you can do.

The LG Prada wasn't launched until May 2007, 5 months after Apple showed off the iPhone.

So your saying apple never copied anybody... have you ever heard of a phone by the name of LG Prada. I remember that phone being release before the iPhone. Everybody copies everybody. So, complaining about everybody copying the iPhone.

Technically, in New Zealand it's already Thursday, so they basically get it almost 24 hours before the US. I've got some friends in Austrailia and every time I talk to the I ask them how the "future" is cause they're something like 17 hours ahead, usually meaning they're prretty much a day ahead of us.

If people really want to copy Apple, they need to copy the effort Apple puts into innovation instead of copying their designs. Honestly, instead of making iPhone clones that are almost as good as the original, make a new phone with new innovative features that the iPhone doesn't have. I'd choose an iPhone over any of the iClones any day.
