So, we pay $119 for MLB.TV and these a$$h#%!! at apple decide to charge ANOTHER $15 just so I can use my IPOD that i paid $200+ for. Way to go apple. Nothing like showing your support for your loyal customers. Glad to see another American Corporation ramming the pole up and breaking it off. I know my rant will make no difference to these blood suckers but for what its worth, you can keep your POS AP. I will use my VERIZON phone that I already pay for.

The audio works really well. If you had an reserves about getting it because you didn’t think that the audio would be strong I must say that I have had no problems listening to games in my car over 3G. It is awesome.

It’s only $10 so I doubt it will send anyone to the poor house. The audio alone makes it worth the cost. Gameday sometimes lags a bit (even at the 15 sec refresh). Still if you are a baseball fan this is a must have app.

This app looks great! But what i’m wondering about is the cool screenshots that show a mail icon in the top, right corner instead of the battery icon??? What is that about? If someone knows, please fill me in! Love the site guys

App is worth it just for the audio. If you hve a speakerdock it’s even better! Buy the app and go Cardinals.

@ icebike: You don’t say what bothers you about the web version of ‘pitch by pitch’, but I can tell you the iPhone version syncs up great with the audio feed.

This app has mostly eased my Slingplayer withdrawal moving over from WM. I mainly would use Sling to watch Met games while I was out and about. I love the streaming audio capability of MLB and the information content all in a clean, easy to use application.

I was initially very reluctant to get this because of the price tag, but the audio feature persuaded me to get it, and I’ve been nothing but thrilled. If you follow an out-of-market team you really need this app. I’m a Red Sox fan living in Kentucky, and I only get to watch a handful of games every season. This way I can at least listen to them. Definitely worth the ten bucks for me.
