Has AT&T fixed HSUPA upload speeds in your area?
A bunch of readers are telling us AT&T and Alcatel Lucent have fixed the issues with HSUPA (high speed uploads) and their iPhone 4's a positively racing up the information superhighway again. Not everyone in every place seems so lucky, however, as our good friend @TCPJ_Mickey, still seems to be chugging along sub-100 in Arizona.
You know what this means, right? Speed test!
We use speedtest.net's app [iTunes link] but whatever your choice of measure, post where you are and what your upload speeds look like today and we'll see if we can figure out if AT&T really is giving more Mbps in more places.

When this story was brought to light a couple weeks ago, my upload speeds were below 200k. Now they're consistently over 1.5 meg (download is usually over 3 meg). Located in Cleveland suburbs.

Download between 1000-2300, upload speeds are still very bad and have been for almost a month less than 100 in the Washington DC area. Apps used, FCC Test, Xtreme Speedtest, and Speedtest.net all with the same results CRAP!!

I must be blazing here in San Jose, CA, compared to others: Download 8,178.50 kbps, Upload 3,046.61 kbps, Total Test Time 10.91 sec. A second test showed 6,690.13 kbps, 3063.58 kbps, 13.13 sec Total Test Time.
No change on upload speeds in Portland, OR. Even with an AT&T Tower 300 yards from my house I'm getting:

I'm in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA and it's still not fixed for me. Getting 60-70kbps on average, and 100kbps max on uploads. Hoping they fix this problem soon, it's been almost a month and when I call AT&T they flat out deny there is any issue they know about. I may call again. Has anyone had AT&T admit to the problem on the phone?

Just got my iPhone 4 a couple days ago and I've had no problems with upload speeds. I just used my speedtest.net app —over 3G I clocked in 2693kbps down and 1636kbps up. I live on Long Island, NY.
P.S. I've had no problems concerning Antennagate. If I have poor service, the deathgrip only drops 1 bar after about a minute of gripping on "the spot".
