Steve Jobs still running Apple, working on iPad 2, iPhone 5

No doubt to quell rumors and steady the stock price, the Wall Street Journal's always well informed Yukari Iwatani Kane reports that Steve Jobs is still at the helm of Apple, running it from home and working on iPad 2 and iPhone 5.
The 55-year-old Mr. Jobs, whose ailment hasn't been disclosed, has been taking business meetings at home and on the phone, these people said.
He also has been seen on Apple's Cupertino, Calif., campus and in public in Palo Alto, Calif., with a company executive, said people familiar with the matter.
Steve Jobs has been on medical leave since January 17, his third since returning to Apple. TiPb continues to wish him a fast and full recovery.

I'm sure Steve and company are all really sorry that they're not working at dan's schedule.
haha ok man
couldnt agree more
iPad 2 is really late. Then again, have a break apple!
He's using the phone? I don't believe that rumor. Now if he was using facetime to hold meetings then I'd believe it.
He can haz service now w/ Big Red LOLz
where does it say he's using the phone?
"has been taking business meetings at home and on the phone"
yea. he's taking meetings on the phone. it doesn't say on the iPhone
Slow down steve it seems he's not taking much of a medical leave if he's still working on other products. Like to see what Ip5 will look like.
How would you like it to be ?
What are the chances iPhone 5 will have video output capabilities (i.e., plug into an HDTV)?
I hope Steve lives forever!
Sad, sad commentary on the subject of fanboyism!!!
Mark, I hope you live forever too.
Cursed!
They need Steve and they know this. The recent showcase of these stellar tablets may have caused them to redesign the iPad 2.
There is a few things Apple MUST improve on the iPad to see it remain trumpet over android. You can check the 3 things the iPad 2 will need to contend with android here: goo.gl/9zD3H
Apples doing fine with him on his leave, and I'm sure he's doing good if he's around
It's sad that Apple has not been able to stablish itself as a company apart from the myth of Steve Jobs. It is clear that he will die some day, sooner or later. I think it would be best to use his leave to strengthen the image of Apple after Jobs, instead of clinging desperately to the fact that he is stil at the helm, even when sick.
I don't think that's really possible until Jobs misses a keynote presentation for a major product release.
Their PR machine is slipping. They should have gone on about how he was doing field testing with the mobile products.
iPad 2 is not late.

Not funny.
