If you've enabled iCloud Photo Library on your iPhone or iPad, you may have noticed that all of your videos aren't showing up. I first noticed this a few days ago while searching for a video I know I had taken on my iPhone a few days prior. For some reason, it wasn't showing up on my iPad, which also has iCloud Photo Library enabled. Digging deeper, some videos that I actually took on my iPhone were also missing. As it turns out, there's a switch you can flip across your devices in order to get videos syncing properly to and from iCloud Photo Library. And for the time being, it also seems to fix the missing videos bug too!
How to fix video syncing issues with iCloud Photo Library for iPhone and iPad
- Launch the Settings app on your iPhone and iPad.
- Tap on Videos.
- Turn On the option for **Show All Videos"".

You'll notice that the text changes when you toggle this option on and off. If the Show All Videos option is turned on, all videos in iCloud Photo Library will be shown, regardless of what device they were taken on. If it's turned off, only the videos physically downloaded on a particular device will be shown in the Photos app. In my experience, turning this option on also seemed to bring back some missing videos that somehow got removed from my iPhone when uploading to iCloud Photo Library. This is most likely a bug in iCloud Photo Library. Luckily this trick solved it and brought my videos back from what I can tell.
Hopefully this is an issue Apple addresses but as always, remember iCloud Photo Library is still in beta. That being said, give this a try and see if it brings back your missing videos!

Missing videos after enabling iCloud Photo Library? Here's how to get them back!
I keep debating turning it on. I have my pictures and videos going up to Flickr, OneDrive, and now Amazon Prime Photos, so I have backups.
I also am debating upping my iCloud Drive space. Paid $11.99 for the legacy 25 GB annual plan on 10/1. Anyone know what will happen if I up to the 200 GB plan? Will I get some credit?

I wondered why two videos I recorded on my iPod & then the video of the end result I edited in iMove on my iPod were not syncing to iCloud & showing on my iPhone, can't work out why the one I put in a shared iCloud Album isn't showing up in the Album on my iPhone yet is showing as there on my iPod though.
Thank you, the only place I didn't look was videos, thinking it was for iTunes content only.
I have lost my entire photo stream. It's still available through my Apple TV. But I can't get it back to my divice.

I have the same problem. My photo stream on the Apple TV has all my photos but my Iphone 5S and Ipad 2 is missing some of my photos. Do you have a fix for this problem?
I have the same problem. I uploaded 2300 pictures and only have 8 in photos now. I can't find the others. Did you get your problem resolved?
It's great that you post all these 'fix' videos Allyson, but I am beginning to wonder if iOS and OS X is getting more like Windows everyday. Too frequently Apple is giving us software that simply doesn't work (I appreciate iCloud Photo Library is in Beta, but there have been too many other examples of screw-ups over the past 12-18 months). Remember Apple builds their hardware, Windows needs to run on a whole host of different hardware. What happened to "It Just Works"?
I still cannot find my photo library. I am not even sure that anything was uploaded to iCloud. When I go in under settings on my iPad it shows 2300 photos and 53 videos but I can't find any of them. Any ideas?
Iphone and Ipad have features that are not easy to use if you are unfamiliar with it. Uploading videos on Iphone are popular nowadays because it is easy to share it on social networking sites anywhere and everywhere if they were stored in your gadgets. For some reason other users experience trouble in locating their videos because of some syncing issues. All you have to do is go to settings, tap on videos, turn On the option for "Show All Videos", then all the videos in ICloud Photo Library will be shown. Lessen your worries!
