Ulysses has long been a staple on the Mac, especially when it comes to long form writing, and today Ulysses comes to the iPad. I've been using Ulysses exclusively on my iPad Air 2 for the past week in the place of my regular text editing app. Complete with iCloud sync, Markdown support, and a beautiful 3 pane interface, Ulysses feels right at home on the iPad.

Elements 2.0 - Dropbox And Markdown Powered Text Editor for iPhone and iPad now available

Elements - Dropbox And Markdown Powered Text Editor has gone 2.0. The update includes support for publishing to Facebook and Twitter as well as exporting to Dropbox, Evernote, iTunes, and Email.

Daily tip: how to create HTML rich e-mail on your iPhone using Markdown Mail

Curious how to create rich, HTML email iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch? iOS may show you fancy emails but it doesn't natively support creating them. However, there are tons of apps available that allow you to do so. Which one you choose is really a matter of preference. I've tried a couple and found Markdown Mail to be my personal favorite. Obviously you'll have to learn markdown if you don't already but I promise, it's dead simple. There's even a link in-app to a help page with all the syntax.
