Just like RadioShack announced a few days ago, CNET is reporting WalMart has now added their name to the list of retailers gearing up to sell Apple's iPhone 4 on the June 24th launch date.

"Walmart said Friday that it will be one of several retail outlets who will have the iPhone 4 on June 24, its first day of availability anywhere. While Walmart has carried previous versions of the iPhone, this is a first that it will be for sale in its stores on the device's official launch day."

This is really not that shocking considering this very company was the first to slash the price on the 16 GB iPhone 3GS. So who is going to head to their local WalMart come June 24th? Sound off in the comments below!

Bloomberg is reporting that Wal-Mart will begin offering Apple's iPad to consumers at some point "later this year".

"We anticipate being able to have the iPad later this year," Gary Severson, senior vice president of entertainment for Wal-Mart's U.S. stores, said in a telephone interview. The Bentonville, Arkansas-based company isn't prepared to provide specifics on the timing and pricing of the iPad, he said."

This really should come to no surprise considering Wal-Mart carries the iPhone. Currently iPad sales are limited to Apple's online and retail stores and the certain Best Buy locations that offer the Apple shop sections. Apple did not have a official comment regarding any deal with Wal-Mart.

Our best guess is that you will see Wal-Mart selling iPads just in time for the holiday shopping season. Do you think this wishful thinking on the retailers part or is this going to happen? Sound off in the comments below!

Well the day that has been oh so talked about here at TiPb has finally come. The black 8GB iPhone 3G model for $197, and the 16GB black or white model for $297. So much for those $99 rumors although, you will save a measly $2 compared to buying it at Apple or Best Buy (though AT&T does have the 8GB for $99 refurbished).

So pick your poison. If you do happen to pick one up at your local Walmart, please share your experience in the comments!

There have been a few rumors regarding the iPhone 3G and Wal-Mart. It turns out the chances of the last one happening, that Wal Mart would sell a 4GB iPhone for $99, are slim to none at this point. Are you really that shocked? What does seem to be true is the iPhone is still coming to Wal-Mart, just $2.00 cheaper than Apple, AT&T, and Best Buy -- $197 and $297.

Mac Rumors received Wal-Mart training materials and advertising. They are also saying the iPhone 3G, 8GB and 16GB, will be available on December 28th. So there you have it, 8GB and 16GB iPhone 3G's at a Wal Mart low price... $2.00 below is lower but seriously... HTC G1 users are able to get that device $50 cheaper at Wal-Mart.

A while back we posted about the iPhone 3G coming to Wal Mart. BGR originally said to look for it to hit the retail store on November 15th, and more recently to look for it early next year.

Well BGR is back with yet another Wal Mart rumor, this time that a $99 4GB iPhone 3G will be available. Keep in mind that price is with a 2 year service agreement. Also, take this rumor with a very large grain of salt as BGR does not sound too convinced by the "source".

A lot of people were expecting a 32GB to drop in the new year, not a 4GB... So what say you? Is it worth going back to a 4GB iPhone just to save a hundred bucks? Sound off in the comments!

Deja vu all over again it seems. First we heard that the iPhone was going to be sold at Radio Shack, then it was Best Buy, and most recently Wal Mart. Now we have a new player in town bidding for some iPhone love, Costco.

Analyst group Global Equities Research is claiming that the public will see the iPhone 3G head into Costco Wholesale stores across the country this January. To go along with that piece of information they also added that it will see a new low price of $149.99. Could this be a price drop at all stores leading to a 32GB iPhone 3G? Hmmm... Please note that this is to be taken with a grain of salt. Global Equities Research would not name any sources of this information.

I know the more places the iPhone is sold the merrier for Apple, and I get that. I've have seen Costco's cell phone set up and it's nothing to write home about. So what is your take on Costco selling the iPhone 3g along with this so called price drop? Sound off in the comments!
