With iTunes Radio officially launching today alongside iOS 7, Apple has begun broadcasting through the @iTunes Twitter account for the first time. Until today the account was little more than a placeholder, but now it seems that the handle will be used to promote the new iTunes music streaming service.

There are already a bunch of other iTunes related Twitter accounts, but this one – at least for now – seems destined to provide iTunes Radio information. iTunes Radio is of course only available in the United States at this time, but if you've already started to use the service, it looks like the @iTunes Twitter feed might be looking at posting some music suggestions too.
