Description: A red and yellow, humanoid shaped Pokémon, Magmar has a duck bill and two small eyes beneath two large lumps on its forhead. It has flames atop each forhead lump and at the end of its long tail. Thick, red scales cover its forarms and it's ten fingers and four toes each end in large claws. Red spike protrude from its spine and it has black cuffs around its ankles and neck.
With a normal body temperature of nearly 2,200° F, Magmar are often found in and around active volanoes where the lava can heal and revitalize it. Magmar found in the Alolan volcanic islands are believed to be sturdier than those found elsewhere. Capable of producing intense flames from any part of its body, Magmar are capable of superheating the air between themselves and their opponents, blocking electric type attacks. Even at rest, it is capable of accidentally setting fires and will often burn its food to a crisp unintentionally.
