Description: A blue, bat-like Pokémon, Swoobat is the evolution of Woobat. It retains the fluff of its prevolution as a collar around its neck, but its face is visible. It has very large ears that are fused together and two pink tails that spiral around each other. The heart-shaped nostril it had as Woobat is much larger now, taking over most of its snout. It also has legs now, though they are quite short and it rarely uses them.
Swoobat can create incredibly powerful sonic waves by vibrating its tail. These sonic waves are strong enough to break through concrete. Unlike other bats who hang onto branches with their feet, Swoobat use their tails to hang upside down from branches.
Core Games
Swoobat in the core games
- Sword Pokédex: Emitting powerful sound waves tires it out. Afterward, it won't be able to fly for a little while.
- Shield Pokédex: The auspicious shape of this Pokémon's nose apparently led some regions to consider Swoobat a symbol of good luck.
