How to catch in Go:

Description: A complex Pokémon with many forms, Darmanitan is the evolution of Darumaka. Discovered in the Unova Region, Darmanitan's Standard form looks like a red ape. It has a wide grin and exaggerated, flame-like eyebrows, always appearing angry or manic. It is incredibly strong in this form, able to destroy large vehicles with a single punch. However, it is also capable of switching into Zen Mode. When in Zen Mode, Darmanitan's body turns blue and is folds in on itself, taking the shape of a Daruma Doll, and it gains a secondary type (Psychic.) Zen Mode Damanitan are immobile and hard as rock, but can use their spiritual strength to gather food.

In the Galar Region, Darmanitan have a regional variant covered in a thick coat of white and blue fur, accented with several blue crystals. Instead of Fire, Galarian Darmanitan is an Ice type that is so timid, it will pretend to be a snowman should humans come close. However, the fire sac that has atrophied in Galarian Darmanitan can be reignited should it enter into Zen Mode. In Zen Mode, the Galarian Darmanitan is an Ice/Fire type and resembles a very angry snowman with flames for a nose. This form of Darmanitan is no longer gentle but instead it unleashes its fury indiscriminately, not caring who or what gets caught in its rampage. It won't even stop should its body start to melt.
