you need a FM Transmitter! but maybe you can just insert the iphone upside down to plug in the fm transmitter.

i recently did a review on the Gogroove Flexpod. it has many features such as a Fm Transmitter and other great stuff.

Ok, I got this unit and my only thought is it isn't that long. I will give it some driving time, but my initial impression is it might be a little impractical. My arm gets tired trying to zero in on typing anything. Will be good for GPS or Maps, but I am skeptical. The arm is very firm, but jiggling does occur after any kind of touch. It comes with an adhesive plate that the suction cup sticks very firm too but my car (Ford Focus SVT) has no flat surfaces to place this thing.

@Jeff
I have not found an answer though I have purchased this Mount and it's in the mail. I had deduced two things regarding the iGrip.
1) This is a pretty glowing review and therefore it's got to be a pretty good product.
2) The pictures in this review show the back of the mount and there looks to be no visible rotation allowed. So I am assuming there is no landscape.

I'll let you know when I receive the device.

@Chad
Does the iGrip Custom Mount have a landscape option (i.e. does it rotate)? Also how long is the flex? Thanks for the review, this mount comes up on a lot of google searches and you're the only review I've found on it.

Still waiting on an application or accessory to be reviewed at less than 4/5. I guess everything is really that good.

@ Jonathan

A dermel will work, but I don't have one :-(

I think one of those sticker-type cases would rip off- it is very secure in the gooseneck's holder.

A little dremel work looks like it would take care of the dock connector problem. (shouldn't be needed, but hey thats why the dremel is so handy)

My issue is it does't look like it will work with a case on the phone.

Do you have a pair of calipers to measure the clearance all around the phone? Could it fit one of those sticker type iPhone case shields? A thin silicon case? Anything bigger?

That is cool! Again, it is all about having proper access to the power cable!

@Doug &Matt

No, you can't use this with an existing case. The holder (take a look at the screenshots) attached directly to the back of the device, so that is a no-go, sorry :-(

The gooseneck is pretty secure from a "touch" perspective. However, I have noticed some excessive jiggling of the device while driving. I have removed and reattached it, and it seems more stable now.

I prefer my WindowSeat by Griffin. It swivels to landscape mode(not that I'd ever glance at a movie during a long drive...) and allows for any power adapter thanks to its 4 point hold on the corners of the unit versus a seat.

I've been really thinking about getting this.

When you tap on the screen, does the gooseneck give a little or is it pretty rigid?
