Tweetbot for iPhone and iPad updated with new media timeline

Tweetbot for iPhone has been updated with a new media timeline view that features supported photos and videos. The image viewer has also been completely redesigned and Instagram previews have been fixed. Lastly, the Tweet/status detail view in Tweetbot now displays the number of Favs and Retweets.

How to use Twitter lists to replace Google Reader

Twitter is not only a great place to converse with others that have the same interests as you, but to stay current on all kinds of news. Thou shalt have no brand before Twitter

Tweetbot just updated to support Twitter's 1.1 API, and to partially support Twitter's new interface display guidelines. Come March 5, the old version of the app will stop working, and if you want to keep accessing Twitter, you'll have to do it with the new app, with it's new, more standardized look. Tweetbot won't be alone. Right now, every Twitter app designer is likely wrestling with the same problem -- how to conform to Twitter's new guidelines without losing what makes their app distinct, how to compromise without sacrificing what makes them special.

Tweetbot for Mac gets Vine, Flickr, MP4 support, notification improvements, all versions of Tweetbot get Twitter API 1.1 compliance

Tweetbot for iPhone and iPod touch, Tweetbot for iPad, and Tweetbot for Mac have all been updated to support the new Twitter 1.1 API, and closer comply with Twitter's new interface display guidelines. In other words, to better conform with Twitter's branding and conformity policies. Changes include all avatars moving to the left (previously your avatar was on the right to help your posts stand out), and the way your @username is displayed.
