Apple TV adds Comedy Central, MTV and VH1 to universal search lineup

A trio of new apps have added support for universal search on the Apple TV. Your searches, either with text or Siri will now include content from VH1, MTV, and Comedy Central.

Once you've downloaded these apps, options to watch shows from these channels will pop up beside iTunes, Netflix, Hulu and others.

With these additions, universal search is now supported by 34 third-party apps on the Apple TV, in addition to Apple's own Movies and TV apps. The rest of the list includes:
