The still image of Ren in the YouTube video frame (headphones, SW hair, Apple Pencil, engagement ring) is priceless. Does Ren get in trouble when she takes her Apple Pencil out onto the Roller Derby track? :) Earlier this year, I saw a talk by director Peyton Reed about all things Ant Man. He noted that the movie did well in Japan, where it played off of the family themes (see Japan promo poster at http://9gag.com/gag/am8zqQX/different-interpretations-of-ant-man-s-movie... ). Ant Man made it into China's annual 34-movie quota and earned over $100M there. I'm sure you've heard that SW didn't make the 2015 list, but will released on 1/9/2016. Have you heard any buzz about how the Chinese people are dealing with this obvious error? Are they ****** at their government? How are they managing to keep an entire country spoiler-free for those three weeks? They must know the rest of the world doesn't have their silly quotas! This reminds me of Leia's great line from SW: "The more you tighten your grip Tarkin, the more star systems will slip through your fingers." If you hear anything about that, I'd like to know. Almost totally OT for this podcast, but I thought Rene would appreciate that Japan promo poster story.
