iOS 9.3 brings more immersive audio with Dolby Digital Plus support

There's a feature tagging along in the newly-released iOS 9.3 that may fly under the radar for some, but it's worth pointing out: Dolby Digital Plus support.
As detailed in the iOS 9.3 patch notes, Dolby Digital Plus support is tagging along in the update, enabling iPhone, iPad and iPod owners to watch movies and TV shows with sound encoded in Dolby Audio.
Additionally, you can even enjoy multichannel audio output with Dolby Digital Plus if you happen to have an Apple Lightning to Digital AV Adapter for outputting sound to a set of speakers.

While it's a small part of a much larger update, support for Dolby Digital Plus encoding should open up more cinematic experiences with movies and TV shows, while also giving a punch to business presentations.
