The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are here and while we've heard a lot about their new 4.7- and 5.5-inch Retina HD displays, we haven't heard as much about their speakers. Are they louder? Are they clearer?
We measured them all with the usual iOS decibel app but couldn't see much a difference. Listening to them all, however, the iPhone 6 did seem both louder and clearer than the iPhone 5s, and the iPhone 6 Plus even more so. (Yes, insert 5.5 is 5 by 5 here.) The biggest surprise, however, wasn't the speaker but the vibration motor in the iPhone 6 plus. Hit play on the video above and listen for yourself!
