Satechi has introduced a new wireless charger that's compatible with many of the latest smartphones now on the market, including those from Apple and Samsung. The Aluminum Type-C PD & QC Wireless Charger features the same iconic look of previous Satechi wireless chargers but comes with some new features.
As its name suggests, the new wireless charger offers both Quick Charging (QC) and USB-C Power Delivery (PD). In doing so, you can charge Qi-enabled Apple and Android devices at speeds up to 10W, meaning you'll have less downtime between charges. The Aluminum Type-C PD & QC Wireless Charger also includes both over-temperature protection and foreign object detection (FOD) to safeguard it from temperature spikes and unwanted metal objects, respectively. Qi-enabled Apple and Android devices have a max output of 7.5W and 10W, respectively.
For added peace of mind, the Aluminum Type-C PD & QC Wireless Charger also includes an LED that shows you the charging status and whether it's suffering from over-temperature or FOD. The light will flash if there's a malfunction and cut off power to your phone in the process.
The Aluminum Type-C PD & QC Wireless Charger by Satechi is compatible with the iPhone XS/XS Max, iPhone XR, iPhone X, iPhone 8/8 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S9/S9 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S8/S8 Plus, and other Qi-enabled devices. It's priced at $44.99 and available in silver and space gray. A quick charge adapter is not included.
