The Spotlight Suggestions feature of iOS 9 has now expanded to seven additional countries and regions, allowing even more people to receive hyperlocal recommendations on iPhone and iPad searches. The latest parts of the globe to gain access to the feature include Hong Kong, India, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates.
If you're unfamiliar with Spotlight Suggestions, the feature allows Spotlight Search in iOS 9 to serve up contextual results based on location. People in regions where the feature is live can use it to check out local businesses, news and much more, all from Spotlight Search.
In all, Spotlight Suggestions are now available in the following 26 countries:
- Hong Kong
- New Zealand
- United Arab Emirates
