Hopefully this is released soon... I use my phone off and on but I'm not a "heavy" user or gamer but I have to charge my phone often I feel like. I know, coming from a blackberry that I would have to charge more often, but it just seems excessive.
Overall I still really like the phone even if I have to charge it often. Restarting the phone helps a lot though- I guess it's similar to the good 'ol battery pull on a BB...
No. Its NOTHING like a "good ol battery pull"
You forgot the one new feature, which seems specifically in response to Marco Arment's post about iOS clearing Instapaper's cache without warning and without recourse:
"iOS 5.0.1 beta introduces a new way for developers to specify files that should remain on device, even in low storage situations."

Are you sure ATV 2 is supported? I don't see it in the list...
I don't see it too. I checked twice and nothing.

Installed. So far so good! Right after my restore, I made a five minute call.. still 100% after I hung up.
WOW!!!
How is your batterylife now?? Is it better with the new update?
Download it and applied on my iPhone 4
So I suppose this will be the first OTA update we receive huh? Hope it comes through soon.

OKAY, I know... most people have a 4 or a 4S. I can't due to my location and another reason. So, I'm still using a 3GS which I absolutely love, but iOS 5 has caused many crashes that had NEVER ever happend while running iOS 3- 4.. PLZ FIX the crashing on a 3GS
You're using an old ass phone that shouldn't have received 5 in the first place. Don't be cheap.
I really don't understand why you think apple needs to fix support for something so old. You aren't entitled to OS5. Old devices have old software. If you want new software get a new device. Simple. Nobody will argue if Windows 7 won't work with their old Pentium 2 computer. This is no different. Except ... The mobile phone industry moves so much faster. Deal with it and upgrade or live with os4.
still trying to restore my phone after 4 hours and lost all my data????,looks like im going to have to leave overnight,do not download latest update
You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be actually something that I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and very broad for me. I'm looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the hang of it! my site :: eml to outlook
