App Giveaway: TouchBase Calendar for iPhone

TouchBase Calendar is a 1-Touch SMS, Calling & Maps for your iPhone Calendar. It syncs with the built-in Calendar, so you can continue to use it has your main calendar. What TouchBase does, is make it easy to send a text to the person you're meeting, or get directions to where you're going, or push back your meeting by 15 minutes - with one touch.

I've played around with TouchBase Calendar a bit and it's pretty cool. I tend to always be running late to where ever I'm going, so being able to quickly send a text to the person I'm supposed to be meeting with is really nice.

TouchBase Calendar painlessly syncs with your calendar to give you 1-touch communication and mapping capabilities on-the-go. Running a bit behind? Send an "I'm running 10 minutes late" SMS or email with 1 touch. Need to know where to go? Get intelligent directions to your events with a single touch.

Finally, a smart calendar for your smartphone!

  • Stop sweating tedious calendar entry! Whether you create your event on your computer or your iPhone calendar app, we’ll do the hard work of figuring out who it’s with and where it is. (e.g. Lunch with Alex J. at Fado Pub is enough for us!)
  • At your meeting location? With 1-touch, let your meeting guests know that you’ve arrived.
  • Running late? TouchBase lets you alert folks that you’re running late by 5, 10, or 20+ minutes.
  • Need to call? We automagically match your meeting guests to matching contacts in your address book for 1-touch dialing.
  • Don’t know where to go? Our maps tab gives you 1-touch links to maps (or map searches) for your destination.

On a typical day, I have no less than 6 meetings, that is, scheduled calendar events with others. However, I like for every second of my work day to be on my calendar haha.

I constantly have calendar updates with my college schedule, an as well as That I have my soccer games in there as well as when to do assignments and when I need to go pick up my brother and sister from school. I also set up my meetings and doctor appointments on there for my medical appointments

I have .32 events on average......but if I had this nifty app, I would probably get that number up to 1.68!!

I use my calendar all day, changing appointments, updating, rescheduling, I would be lost without it. I have several events per day entered and they change all the time due to work, volunteer work, family, charity and personal events. This would be very helpful.

I have 3 different calendars that I'm linked to. Average is about 4 per calendar. So maybe 12/day total. Hockey, Soccer, Choir, School, Work Appointments, Daughters work schedule, Insurance Meetings....some days I have to scroll forever to find what I'm looking for.

One of my lesser strenghts is actually being able to stay on schedule. This will at least let everyone else know

Wow. This app looks amazing. I too tend to run late and / or get lost and the ability to bump a calendar event time with one tap seems too good to be true. I have 7 calendars and over 20 calendar events with alerts every day. (I'm a super nerd and program my day on a daily routine calendar so I pay a lot of attention to my calendars apps).

Counting both personal and work, I get approximately 100 emails a day, but my max was over 300 once. Oye, that was a bad day.

I usually plan everything ahead of time and mark it in my calendar to keep on track. I'd say I usually have 3-4 events each day marked on my iphone calendar.

Per day, I have about 4 things in my calendar. And like you, I'm occasionally a few minutes behind so I like the quick access to texting/calling people involved with each task or event.

Currently I am using Informant app, but would like to have only one calender to contend with. So will this combine the reminder of Siri as well as the calender? It depends on the day as to how many events I have in a day. I like telling Siri to set me reminder so I am having more events for my day lately

I have 5 - 10 a day and this sounds like a product that can add a most valuable dimension of managing and updating others without too much trouble.
