Due for iPhone and iPad updated [giveaway]

Phocus' reminders app for iPhone and iPad, Due, has been updated with some tweeks and changes.

The beauty of Due lies in its simplicity. There's no account to create, no start or end date to set, no need to prioritize, tag nor categorize. What there is however are what that matters: a note for your reminder, and an alert that is set up in mere seconds.

  • Super fast - Set up a reminder with alert in seconds—up to 3x faster than Calendar app
  • Get to the timings you need in a tap
  • Reusable countdown, egg timers
  • Keep track of outstanding tasks with Smart Badges
  • Never miss any reminders with Auto Snooze Repeatedly notifies you of missed reminders until marked done or rescheduled
  • Reschedule and defer reminders quickly
  • Recurring reminders: daily, weekly, monthly, yearly and more
  • Track past reminders and quickly create new ones based on expired reminders by recycling them within the Logbook
  • Time Zone Shifting - Receive timely reminders no matter where you are in the world
  • 12 great sounding alerts of varying lengths to choose from
  • Universal app, looks and works great on both iPhone and iPad
  • Keep reminders in sync across your iPhone and iPad with OTA Sync via Dropbox
  • Backup, email and restore databases right within Due
  • Undo support
  • Secondary Alert & Alarm mode
  • Reliable reminders that don't require any Internet connection

Here are some of the new changes:

  • Interval on date picker now dynamically changes to accommodate due times that cannot be accurately displayed by user’s preferred interval setting
  • Editing the value of a timer with an auto-generated label now updates the label to match the new countdown value (thanks @mutewinter)
  • Now hides any transient animation on quit to prevent jarring transition on next resume
  • Overdue and Today+Overdue badging now faster
  • When setting up a new repeating reminder, ‘Repeat from date’ follows the ‘Due date’ automatically

I love simplicity done right and Phocus has nailed it with this app. Due takes away the task of keeping track of tasks.

The good folks at Phocus have given us some promo to give away! For a chance to win, just let us know the type of tasks that you need reminding for.

Due is a universal app for iPhone and iPad and is available for $4.99.

Due for iPhone and iPad updated [giveaway]

I would like a promo code to try this one out. It seems very well done. I would use it to remind me to call my customers. Thanks

Prep for work presentations, bills, kid stuff (paperwork, practices, etc.) ... my entire life is one "due now" task after another!

With university coming up next year this would be a great app to keep track of all of my assignments and projects due, as well as around the house reminders. Even if I don't win I might buy it anyways - looks very useful.

My biggest reminder needs revolves around my international meetings in both Singapore and Vienna. Because they fall on odd hours and are timed events, having an application that can handle all that would be a wonderful asset to my arsenal

I need reminders for my meetings... And then one to remind me to pick up the milk on the way home lol

I usually keep track of various online service subscriptions, offers expiry date etc. Due is a great iPhone app that can simplify life :)

I need to keep track of everything from work reminders, to family appointments or remembering to pick up things from the store. Anything that can simplify my life would be great!

I am a mother, a house maker and a teacher. To be able to fulfill these roles well I have to be very efficient about keeping track of my daughter's personal and school needs, the household bills, replenishing household supplies, upcoming class and school activities and the preparations needed for them, and the meetings that I have to attend to. This app will be of great help fo rme.

Really need a good appointment reminder for all of my church appointments. I've been late more than once because the calendar failed to remind me when it should have.

This would be useful for me bc I am a law clerk/law student and this would help me to keep track of everything I have going on. Things get really hectic and this would make it alot easier to deal with.

I'm sure pretty much everyone needs reminders for those small bit essential items found in a normal day. However, for me personally, I need reminders for all areas of my schooling. I am currently a yr 10 high school student in Australia and really want to make sure I can be getting on top of my school work now so I can make good habits for the years ahead. I'm sure with such a beautifully designed app such as Due, this can become possible. :)

I need to be reminded to buy apps/songs. I always find awesome apps, or hear great songs, but I always forget about them when I find the money to get an iTunes card.

Looks like a great app. I'm very forgetful and could use reminders for things like chores around the house, things to pickup on my home from work, and many times at work I need to do something in "an hour" and then promptly forget all about it.

I'd like a promo to try out. With professional requirements, family obligations, and this sounds like a more robust app than what apple has planned for its to-do app.

I'm a newspaper reporter. An app like this would help me organize my story deadlines, assignments, interview schedule, and publication dates.

This would make life simpler. So many things to do. This app will realy help my lifrstyle.

Hey! This looks awesome. I'm an entrepreneur in a food startup, having to keep tabs of everything from meetings/client follow-ups, to supply purchases, to even time the production steps when I'm solo'ing in the kitchen to bake my premium snacks - and on top of that the whole online presence/social media activity what with blogging and all that. Oh, and trying to fit in some kind of a personal life when not working on my startup or at my parttime job. .. I'm always on the lookout for tools to improve my productivity! :)

I need mainly reminders for office meetings and general office and client meetings. On the outside of the job i for sure need reminders for doctors appts. as well as things the finace has planned for us. I for sure could use this app.

I used to use DateBk5 on my Palm, but have found nothing, except possibly Due to take its' place!
I need to keep track of many things for my retail store:Sales and Use Tax-once a quarter, Rent once a month, payroll twice a month, reconciliation of checking account twice a week and weekly food shopping. Not to mention other personal bills on a weekly and monthly basis like mortgage and car payments!!!

Ive used many reminder type apps and haven't found tge best one for me yet.
I keep track of bills due, new movies to go see, and even birthdays.
Due would definantly allow me to get rid of a few apps on my iphone and decrease the odds of me missing something important to me.

Usually I need to remember tasks that are out of my routine- things assigned in staff meetings for instance, or things I volunteer for

I need reminders for almost everything. Family tasks, honeydew list, when to meet the buddies, work related tasks... you name it I need to do it.

I will use it to remind to bill my gas/mobile phone payments, buy gift for my daughter, call on meeting。

I need Due to bridge the gap between my brain and the physical world. I need it to remind me that I cannot use the Force to rearrange the office supplies in my drawer divider, but that I, in fact, must do it at repeating intervals throughout my life, or it will not get done at all.

Need to keep track of everything from kids schedules to work tasks and prescription reminders. This looks very useful. Thanks.

I'm doing decent on work tasks...but I keep forgetting the important stuff like dr's appts and dinner plans!

Is this giveaway still going on? You see, I starred this days ago in Google Reader but forgot to post... I npcould use Due to remind me of giveaways...
