iOS 4.3.2 coming in the next two weeks?

ios-4-software-update

Boy Genius Report is hearing that Apple is planning to release iOS 4.3.2 for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad within the next two weeks.

We’ve just been told by one of our Apple ninjas that the company is working on another iOS 4.3.x release: iOS 4.3.2. It’s said to include a few enhancements, address security issues, and it will also fix several bugs that have affected users.

BGR has been accurate in the past when reporting on iOS software update releases, so the possibility of Apple dropping iOS 4.3.2 in the near future is very much alive. We're not sure what enhancements they've been told of, but the update will hopefully address WiFi and camera issues in iOS 4.3.1 and we're crossing our fingers that Apple doesn't fix the untethered jailbreak recently released by the Dev-Team.

Are you looking forward to iOS 4.3.2? Let us know in the comments below!

No. Any update has bug fixes

Seabassthegreat says:

Please I hope they fix the FaceTime bug! All my friends have the same issue

Dood says:

Yes, it's annoying that FaceTime keeps making appear that everybody is more handsome than myself. Apple, please fix this bug immediately.

myPhone says:

Are you talking about the bug where the FaceTime app on iPad 2 freezes and the only way to get it back is to reboot the device?

Cyclone says:

I hope so b/c that bug really sucks. Before 4.3, I would restart my phone pretty much only when a software update came out. But now I do it DAILY b/c of this bug. Very annoying when you have an incoming call, explain you've been hit by the bug and have to disconnect and restart. Then call that person back AND THEY SUDDENLY HAVE THE BUG TOO! A vicious cycle!

Danny2582 says:

Is this gonna work for verizon iphone or no?

Andrew Wray says:

We won't know until it's available.

Keith-IA says:

Verizon iPhone users need some 4.3.whatever love!! :)

manho1dup says:

No. Sticking with 4.3.1.

TJ says:

iPad has sound issues on some Apps. The Masters iPad app plays video, no sound. Dictionary.com iPad app has no sound when clicking the "say the word" icon. I hope that is part of the bugs fixed.

Dood says:

Wouldn't that be an issue with the Masters app?

JNGold says:

I experienced a problem where sound in Apps/games were mute but for other apps and browser sound was fine.
Have you set your side switch for mute control? If so, go to your settings and change it to control screen lock orientation and then back to mute control. That fixed the issue for me.

Luke roberts says:

Good,
I hope they fix the iPad calendar month view multi-day event bug, which only displays the event's start date and start time on the month view. The end date and time, and all days between the start and end of an event are not displayed, unless the event is a multi-all-day event.
This DOES work on the iphone and I NEED it to work on the iPad!

Huntaah says:

"address security issues" could mean fixing the untethered jailbreak /:

DubbDee says:

I hope they fix the unresponsive-home-button issue that so many people are having. Press, press, press.......nothing. One press and it thinks it's a double click, sometimes two clicks interpreted as one. Annoying.

Robert says:

I have this problem too. I assumed it was a hardware issue and was going to do a warranty exchange this week.

Mike says:

I have the same issue on 4.2. I don't care enough to do a warranty exchange. It's too much of a hassle to backup and restore and rejailbreak and all the other fun garbage associated with it.

ihighlander says:

I am having the same issue on the iPhone... but it has been happening as of late.. hardware issue?
Thanks

Leonard says:

No.. I guess this 4.3.1 is enough, and I just got jailbreak last nite

gthugball1n says:

seems like apple is going the way of sony with the psp... just gonna keep releasing small fixing again and again and again until we run out. :( i mean... what was the big difference between 4.2.1 and 4.3.1 anyways.... nothing to big imo... i'd rather have a jailbreak for 5.0 and 6.0

Morac says:

My 3GS started having issues where it won't go into Standby after a few days of being up, forcing me to reboot. This started with 4.3.1, so I hope it's fixed with 4.3.2.

Morac says:

Oh and some apps display a black screen on the iPad 2, though they supposedly work on the iPad.

grunt0300 says:

4.3.2 sounds good, but if it's not jailbroken by greenpoisOn, then i'll wait until it is!

DRHughes says:

What problems will it fix? Cause I haven't had any issues.

rshol says:

"What problems will it fix?"
Jailbreak.

sherlock says:

crossing our fingers that Apple doesn’t fix the untethered "jailbreak recently released" Wouldn't that be the whole reason they are coming out with it now?

zero credibility says:

4.3.0 was an awesome upgrade, smooth transitions again. No sticky sliding action, such a relief from the 4.2 ... that was a pain to use, ..... until 4.3.1 came out and it was shot again..., why apple? why ?

Andrew says:

.... told you so .... fnar! ;)

FLskydiver says:

What WiFi and camera issues?? Why was I not informed?

20_questions_Joe says:

I have to reboot my 3GS almost every time I turn WiFi on because the full window doesn't open. Why don't I just keep Wifi on? Cuz it easts the battery.
