Apple isn't taking pre-orders for the iPhone 5s – at least not anywhere local to anyone at iMore – but today sees the process getting underway in China. And by all accounts, it seems to be going pretty well. As MacRumors points out, however limited supplies might be, multiple sell outs are being seen already:
If you've had your eyes on a new iPod touch, iPod nano, or iPod shuffle, but prefer doing your pre-ordering through Amazon than Apple, you're in luck -- Amazon has just put their new iPod pre-order page live!
The iPhone 5 went on pre-order early this morning and if you are looking to grab one direct from Apple, it is already too late. The delivery date for every model of the iPhone 5 be it Black or White, 16GB, 32GB or 64GB is now as two weeks in the United States. Previously if you pre-ordered the iPhone 5 delivery was guaranteed for Friday September 21.
The iPhone 4S is now available for pre-order in 22 additional countries, including Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. Shipping times are listed at 1-2 weeks.
In a few hours, at 12:01am PDT / 3:01am EDT, iPhone 4S pre-orders will begin. So... are you pre-ordering? Or if you're reading this later, did you pre-order? If so, let us know what you're getting (or what you got!) Black or white? 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB? GSM/AT&T or Verizon or Sprint CDMA?
Any problems with the ordering process? Did you get a confirmation? What's the shipping date? So. Many. Questions!
